Aluminium pergola design software
Most pergola makers work in an expensive, complicated CAD package — or, worse, with paper and a tape measure. AluFlow is SaaS designed specifically for aluminium pergolas: straightforward 2D drawing in the browser, immediate 3D, and AR on the customer's phone. No training course, no installation.
2D drawing — minutes instead of hours
AluFlow's canvas is built around how a pergola is actually structured: you click points rather than drawing arbitrary lines, and the software works out for itself which beams are frame, which are division and which are shading. Junction angles are derived automatically. The drawing looks like a pergola seen from above, not like a complex engineering diagram.
- L, U and T shapes plus arbitrary custom outlines
- The number of division beams derived automatically from the spacing you set
- Separate frame and shading colours per project
- Wall-mounted or free-standing pillar configurations
- Reusable templates to speed up similar projects
Live 3D
Every change on the 2D canvas is reflected immediately in a 3D model. The customer sees what the pergola will actually look like — in the colour they chose, at the right height, with the specific shading profile. The model loads quickly even on older phones.

AR — the customer sees the pergola in their own garden
One of the more distinctive capabilities: USDZ export for iOS, which lets a customer place the model in their real garden on an iPhone or iPad and see it at full size. It shortens the sales cycle — the customer does not have to imagine it, they simply look at it.
Why not CAD?
A general CAD package is a general drawing tool. It does not know what “aluminium profile ABC-180” is, it does not derive a bill of quantities, it cannot optimise cutting, and it has no customer management. In CAD you draw — and then move to a spreadsheet, to a quote document, and to an ordering system, re-typing at every step.
In AluFlow the drawing is the start of a whole pipeline:
- Draw → the pergola takes shape on screen
- Automatic bill of quantities → a complete, accurate materials list
- Cutting plan → 15-25% less raw material
- Production plan → a printed list for the shop floor
- Quote → a PDF with every detail, sent to the customer
Who uses it
AluFlow suits aluminium fabrication shops that manufacture pergolas and pergola contractors who install for private customers — a business running 30 projects a month as much as a freelancer running three.
